Last summer we enrolled our daughter in a Scuba Camp that the Dive Depot put together.
It was a week long camp where she was able to earn her Jr. Dive Certification. Her and I were planning on taking a girls vacation this summer. It turned out that the Dive Depot was also putting together a scuba diving vacation in Roatan. We decided to get on board. This meant that I too had to learn how to scuba dive. Never had it ever crossed my mind to do this!
I guess your children really do keep you young.
The day finally came for us to pack our bags and make our way to the little island off the coast of Honduras called Roatan. We spent 7 days at an amazing resort called CoCo View.
I could go on for every about how amazing it was. Sharing this journey with my teenage daughter was truly the best part.
Surprisingly I don't take a ton of photographs when I'm on vacation. I prefer to live in the moment and leave the camera behind most times. I did end up taking a few picks that I liked.
I tried my hand at underwater photography and let's just stay I won't be submitting anything to National Geographic! Hahahahaha.
Here is some interesting vine like wood I really loved the texture of.
