I had a great time meeting people and talking about what I do at the Taste of Home
show Tuesday night. It was only a few hours but I made some new connections and chatted with long time clients. I had a booth next to Classic Cuts, of Bemidji. Did you know that Aveda sells tea? I never knew! It's actually really good. They had some really amazing smelling soaps for sale too. My other neighbor was Bi-Cap. They were educating people on some new programs available to help people who are upside down in there mortgages. How great is that?
I didn't really get a chance to see what everyone else was doing. That's the way it goes when you have your own booth.
This week was also the week that both BNI chapters in town had their visitor's day. I went to my own chapter, of course, but I was also invited to the other chapter and had a great time. It's so energizing to be surrounded by people who share the same enthusiasm for their business as I do mine. I met Tara, a client of mine who is now in charge of Lueken's floral department. I had know Idea they had one! Kinda cool.
