What are your hours?
One of the great things about being an independent studio is being able to give our clients personal attention. This means we work with one client at a time—giving them great service, fresh ideas and Trish's undivided attention. In order to do that, Photography by Trish is open by appointment only. Generally,  studio sessions are scheduled Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. Saturday appointments are available for an additional fee on a limited basis. Location sessions are also available. Do we get proofs or online viewing?
No. Back in the film days, the only way you could view the images a photographer created was
to create a print directly from the negative. This was called a proof. There was no retouching or enhancing of the image—straight out of the camera, so to speak. The studio would give these  proofs to the clients to make their selections from. Nowadays, with the ability to digitally show you the image, there is no need for the waste of paper proofs. Also, with the invention of the home scanner, it makes it way too easy for dishonest people to simply scan those proofs and not pay the photographer for his or her time and talent. For these two reasons, Photography by Trish does not create any type of paper proof or online viewing. All viewing happens at the studio with Trish. 

How do we view our images?
After we create your images we invite you back to the studio for a separate viewing/ordering session. At this time, we ask that all the people who need to be involved in the decision making process to be present. Together, we view the images on a large projected screen and go through the selection process. We work together to select your favorite images and place your order.

Do we get the images on a CD?
No. Photography by Trish stands on our reputation for quality. As a professional, award-winning photographer, it's Trish's job to help you preserve cherished moments and memories. We do this by providing you with only the best finished printed products and services. We feel that our high quality standards are compromised when images are reproduced outside our studio. It's also the reason we do not offer images on a CD for our clients to print on their own. Not only is the quality jeopardized, but we find that most people just file CDs and digital images away in a drawer somewhere never to be looked at again. We believe that fine portraits should be documented in a tangible format in order to be celebrated and shared for posterity. In other words, your pictures belong on your wall, not in a drawer. As a convenience to you, we will provide a free Facebook file for each image that's ordered for you to share with friends online (the images are low resolution and have the Photography by Trish logo watermarked on them).
