Brrrrmidji Plunge!

Once again we prove how crazy we are here in the Northland! Saturday I had the thrill of living through a bunch of folks with big hearts as they jumped into the freezing water on Lake Bemidji. Not only is it a bucket list item for many but the proceeds go to the area food shelf and soup kitchen! One of my favorite charities! Here are a few of my favorites.
And let's not forget the sponsors that make this all work. So many times we as citizens just show up for events with no thought to the hours of planning that goes into the event. These are busy folks just like you and me. Take note of those local business people who contribute the next time you are in need of their services. After all, if they do not thrive, they can not contribute in the future!
